Decorating w Skeletons

I am an art lover and surrealism is my favorite form of art. That sort of makes this my favorite holiday because of the eye candy everywhere you look. When you think about it, who doesn’t like Halloween. Used to be just the kids were giddy with getting dressed up and pretending. Now kids of every age are joining in the fun of this holiday. Skeletons are a morbid icon of this cool day and one of the more popular themes used when decorating for a creepy holiday. I find that just parts of a skeleton, for example, a skull is perfect to fill the empty space which is in need of some decor.

I spend the majority of my time on the computer and this is a great idea to add a touch of Halloween to your everyday tech time. They also look great on a shelf.

Waiting Around

I am a vintage photo buff and this is one of my favorite unusual photos of days gone by.

This guy was just hanging around waiting for his buddy who went to take a shower. He has been waiting in the same spot for a very long time. Maybe he should go in and see what is keeping his pal 🙂

Every Room Needs a Skeleton

Stay true to your theme while keep it going to all parts of your home. Don’t stop with the fun mood lighting or the creepy glassware. There are plenty more places that will cry out for a touch of Halloween. When guests are stopping over for a party it is nice to have decorations in every area of the house.

One place that gets overlooked most of the time is the bathroom, but it is easy to fix this situation. The bathroom is one of the most used and those cool decorations are sure to be appreciated. I find that the ” Bat room ” is one of the best really fun places to add a touch of the bones. From the simplest things like an orange and black carpet to the more elaborate addition like a fun Halloween shower curtain.

I think I know what is keeping the guy that went for a shower ….

Bat Room Accessories

When I start to decorate it is like eating Pringles . I can’t stop …. Lucky for me there are all sorts of fun ideas and novelty items and they are easy to get. I remember when the only place to get anything really fun for decorating was taking a trip to Spencer’s Gifts at the mall. They carried all sorts of great novelty and joke items but not always what you wanted. Now an Internet connection is all it takes. If you are not into making your own things like candles and soap you can try some of these great spooky items to add that ghoulish touch to your bathroom. I am amazed at the imaginations that think of this stuff.

Hand Towels

I would want to add all this great stuff in my bathroom and supply something to dry off with. Even with the addition of fake cobwebs in the corners of the room and some creepy crawly fake bugs on the floor your guest needs somewhere to dry their hands. Instead of plain white towels adding a cool holiday themed towel is great.
