I usually don’t think twice about stuff like this but I can’t help it. I am listening to ‘Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader’ and Kelly Pickler is on. I never really heard of her but listening I found she is a singer and was discovered on American Idol. Listening to her amazing answers makes me think she was discovered under a rock. See is the poster child for how bad the education system is in the United States. She is supposedly a singer / musician and the question that made me start listening was in that field.
She was asked “A piccolo is a member of what family” 1) String 2)Wind 3)Percussion Needles to say she said Percussion.
I believe her reasoning was piccolo starts with the letter p and percussion starts with the letter p.
I am just amazed that she actually went to school. Even if she didn’t she is in the music industry. If this is an act done for the show a disclaimer should be shown. I think it has to be an act because all the American Idols that were on seemed too dumb to be real.
I would really love to know if this is an act or not.
